Matematiksel problem çözme ile ilgili TR dizinde yer alan eğitim fakülteleri dergilerine ait makalelerin incelenmesi

Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı; TR Dizin'de yayımlanan Türkiye'deki eğitim fakülteleri dergilerine ait matematiksel problem çözme ile ilgili makalelerin betimsel içerik analizinin yapılıp genel eğiliminin belirlenmesidir. TR Dizin'de yayımlanan eğitim fakülteleri dergilerine ait matematiksel problem çözme çalışma alanını konu edinmiş ilk makalenin yayım yılı olan 2004 yılından 2022 yılının sonuna kadar yayımlanan tüm makaleler incelenmiş ve 110 makale çalışmaya dâhil edilmiştir. Bu çalışma kapsamında makaleler hazırlanan "TR Dizin'de Yayımlanan Matematiksel Problem Çözme Temalı Makaleleri İnceleme Formu" çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. İlgili makaleler; makalenin yayımlandığı tarih, yazarının unvanı, yayım dili, yayımlandığı derginin adı, makalelerin yazarlarının bulundukları üniversiteler, makaledeki anahtar kelimeler, örneklem grubu, örneklem büyüklüğü, araştırma modeli, veri toplama araçları, veri analiz yöntemi, makalenin amacı, yöntemi, sonuç ve önerileri kategorileri kapsamında analiz edilmiştir. Microsoft Excel programı yardımıyla formda oluşturulan kategorilere ait frekans ve yüzde dağılımları hesaplanmıştır. Ulaşılan veriler ise grafik ve tablolar yardımı ile detaylı bir şekilde sunulmuştur. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre; matematiksel problem çözmeyle ilgili en çok makalenin 2018 yılında yayımlandığı, makalelerin büyük bir kısmının Türkçe dilinde yayımlandığı, örneklem grubu olarak en fazla 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin tercih edildiği ve örneklem büyüklüğünün 31-100 olarak seçildiği görülmüştür. Ayrıca ilgili makalelerde en çok nicel araştırma yöntemlerinin seçildiği, nicel analizlerin yapıldığı ve veri toplama aracı olarak anket ve ölçeklerin daha çok tercih edildiği sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçların bu konu alanında gerçekleştirilen çalışmaların güçlü ve eksik yönlerini görme açısından yararlı olacağı ve matematiksel problem çözmeye yönelik çalışmaların eğiliminin bütüncül bir bakış açısıyla görülebilmesi açısından gelecek çalışmalara rehber olabileceği düşünülmektedir.
The aim of this study is to determine the general tendency by making descriptive content analysis of the articles on mathematical problem solving published in the journals of education in Turkey, published in TR Dizin. All articles published from 2004, which was the publication year of the first article on the subject of mathematical problem solving in the journals of education faculties published in TR Dizin, until the end of 2022 have been analyzed and 110 articles have been included in the study. The articles have been analyzed according to "Mathematical Problem Solving Articles Review Form Published in TR Dizin", which was prepared for the research designed on the basis of descriptive content analysis. The articles have been analyzed under categories of the date the article was published, the title of the author, the publication language, the name of the journal in which it was published, the universities of the authors of the articles, the keywords in the article, the sample group, the sample size, the research model, the data collection tools, the data analysis method, the purpose, method, results and arguments of the article. With the help of Microsoft Excel program, the frequency and percentage distributions of the categories created in the form have been calculated. The obtained data has been presented to the reader in detail with the help of graphics and tables. According to the results of the research; 2018 is the year that the most articles on mathematical problem solving have been published. Most of the articles have been published in Turkish. Highly 7th graders and a sample size of 31-100 have been selected as the sample group. In addition, it was concluded that quantitative research methods were chosen in the related articles, quantitative analyzes were made, and questionnaires and scales were preferred more as data collection tools. It is thought that the results obtained from the study will be useful in terms of detecting the strengths and deficiencies of the studies conducted in this subject area and may guide future studies in terms of seeing the tendency of studies on mathematical problem solving from a holistic perspective.
