| dc.description.abstract | Hızla gelişen ve değişen dünyayla birlikte teknoloji de hızla gelişmektedir. Teknolojinin bu kadar hızla gelişmesiyle birlikte öğrencilerin istek ve öğrenme stilleri de değişmektedir. Bu yüzden eğitim öğretimde eski geleneksel yöntemle ders anlatımları değiştirilerek modern teknolojiden faydalanarak öğrencilerin derse karşı istek ve ilgilerini arttırmak gerekmektedir. Derse karşı istek ve ilgiyi arttırabilecek araçlardan birisi de GeoGebra'dır. GeoGebra matematik öğretimi için tercih edilen önemli dinamik yazılımlardan biridir. Bu araştırmada matematik öğretiminde Geogebra kullanımının öğrenci tutumu ve akademik başarısı üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunda 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılının ikinci döneminde Osmaniye ilinin Merkez ilçesindeki bir ortaokulun 7. sınıfında eğitim görmekte olan öğrenciler yer almaktadır. Bu araştırmanın verilerine "Çokgenler Başarı Testi", "Çember ve Daire Başarı Testi" ve "Matematiğe Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği" kullanılarak ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler SPSS 24 programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmada kontrol grubuna ve deney grubuna uygulanan matematiğe yönelik tutum ölçeği, çokgenler başarı testi ve çember ve daire başarı testiden elde edilen verilerin analiz edilmesi sonucunda deney grubu lehine anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu veriler doğrultusunda matematik eğitiminde GeoGebra kullanımının geleneksel öğretim yöntemlerine göre öğrencilerin akademik başarısını daha çok arttırdığı ve tutumlarını olumlu yönde etkilediği sonucuna varılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda sonraki araştırmalar için önerilerde bulunulmuştur. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Technology is developing and changing rapidly as the World. Through this change, students' wishes and learning styles also change. For this reason, it is necessary to increase the students' desire and interest in the lesson by changing the old classical method in education and use modern technologies. One of the tools that can increase the desire and interest in the course is GeoGebra. GeoGebra is one of the most preferred dynamic software for mathematics teaching. In this study, the Effect of Using Geogebra in Mathematics Teaching on Student Attitude and Academic Achievement was investigated. Quasi-experimental design, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in this research. In the study group of the research, there are students who are studying in the 7th grade of a secondary school in the central district of Osmaniye in the second semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. The data of this study were obtained by using the "Polygons Achievement Test", "Circle and Disc Achievement Test" and "Attitude Scale Towards Mathematics". The data obtained in the research were analyzed using the SPSS 24 program. In this study, as a result of the analysis of the data obtained from the attitude scale towards mathematics, polygons achievement test and circle and circle achievement test applied to the control group and the experimental group, it was determined that there were significant differences in favor of the experimental group. In line with these data, it was concluded that the use of GeoGebra in mathematics education increased the academic success of the students more than traditional teaching methods and positively affected their attitudes. In this direction, suggestions were made for future research. | |
