Ortaokullarda öğrenim gören Türk ve mülteci öğrencilerin etkin vatandaşlık değerlerinin incelenmesi

Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokullarda öğrenim gören Türk ve mülteci öğrencilerin etkin vatandaşlık değerleri incelenmiştir. Araştırma, 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılının Güz döneminde Kahramanmaraş İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı devlet ortaokullarında öğrenim gören her sınıf düzeyindeki Türk ve mülteci öğrenciler ile birlikte yürütülmüştür. Araştırma betimsel araştırma yöntemine uygun şekilde yapılandırılmıştır. Nicel yöntemde tarama modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılırken, nitel boyutta ise görüşme yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Çalışma grubuna, bu araştırma modeline uygun olarak, Çalışkan ve Yıldırım (2020)'ın geliştirmiş olduğu Etkin Vatandaşlık Değerler Ölçeği (EVDÖ) uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde, SPSS 18.0 istatistik programı kullanılmış olup, normallik sınaması gereken durumlarda Kolmogorov Smirnov Z testi ile çalışma grubunun farklı değişkenler açısından karşılaştırılması için Mann Whitney U testi ve Tek Yönlü ANOVA analiz yöntemleri uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca, çalışma grubunun ölçekte yer alan ifadelere katılım düzeylerinin aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma değerleri de verilmiştir. Bu araştırmanın bulgularına dayalı olarak edinilen en önemli sonuçlar, sevgi, saygı ve adil olma değerlerinin Türk ve mülteci öğrencilerde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık göstermesi, bu farklılığın sevgi boyutunda mülteci öğrencilerin, saygı ve adil olma değerlerinde ise Türk öğrencilerin lehine olmasıdır. Yardımseverlik, ve sorumluluk değerleri açısından ise anlamlı bir farklılık yoktur. Doğruluk dürüstlük değerinde ise sınıf düzeyleri arasında anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Nitel veriler analiz edilirken betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Hem Türk hem de mülteci öğrencilerin bu değerlere ilişkin sözel ifadelerine ait kategorilendirme ve doğrudan alıntılar da araştırmanın bulgular kısmında paylaşılmıştır. Aynı öğrenme ortamını paylaşan ve her biri Türk toplumunun bir parçası olan bu çocukların değerlere atfettikleri önemin iyi anlaşılması ve huzurlu bir ortamın oluşturulabilmesi için bu değerlerin ortak birer nokta olarak referans alınması çok önemlidir. The aim of this study is examination the effective citizenship values of Turkish and refugee students studying in secondary schools. The research was carried out together with Turkish and refugee students at all grade levels studying at public secondary schools affiliated to the Kahramanmaraş Provincial Directorate of National Education in the Fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. The research was structured in accordance with the descriptive research method. While the relational screening model was used as one of the screening models in the quantitative method, the interview method was preferred in the qualitative dimension. In accordance with this research model, the Effective Citizenship Values Scale (ECVS) developed by Çalışkan and Yıldırım (2020) was applied to the study group. In the analysis of the obtained data, SPSS 18.0 software was used for statistical test of normality Kolmogorov Smirnov Z test is required, and in cases where the comparison of the study group in terms of different variables with Mann-Whitney U test and one-way ANOVA analysis methods were applied. In addition, the arithmetic mean and standard deviation values of the participation levels of the study group in the expressions included in the scale were also given. The most important results of this research based on the findings acquired, love, respect, and fairness show a statistically significant difference in the values of Turkish and refugee students, and this difference in the size of refugee students love, respect, and the value of being in favor of fair is that the Turkish students. There is no significant difference in terms of the values of benevolence and responsibility. A significant difference was found between the grade levels in the value of accuracy and Decency. When analyzing the qualitative data, the descriptive analysis method was used. Categorization and direct citations related to the verbal statements of both Turkish and refugee students about these values were also shared in the findings section of the study. It is very important that these children, who share the same learning environment and are each part of Turkish society, have a good understanding of the importance they attach to values and that these values are referenced as common points in order to create a peaceful environment.
