Özet
İnsanlığın, gelişimini ve neslini sürdürmesi için ihtiyaç duyduğu en temel gereksinimlerden biri enerjidir. Küreselleşen dünya şartlarında, artan nüfus ve hızla gelişen endüstrileşme enerji tüketimini özendirirken, gelenekselleşen enerji üretim kaynaklarının tükenmesine ve yeni üretim kaynaklarının arayışına neden olmuştur. Bu arayışlar ile tükenmez, temiz ve sürdürülebilir olan yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının gelişmesine önemli katkılar sağlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarından olan güneş ve rüzgâr enerji kaynaklarının Niğde ilinde potansiyelleri ve uygulanabilirlikleri ile çevresel ve ekonomik katkıları incelenmiştir. Çalışma sonunda; Niğde ilinin, rüzgâr enerji santrali kurulumu için gereken koşulları sağlayamadığı için rüzgâr enerji santrali kurulmasına uygun olmadığı, ilin güneş enerjisi santralleri kurulumu için koşullarının uygun olduğu ve ilin elektrik tüketimini karşılayabilecek, hatta Türkiye’nin elektrik üretim-tüketimi arasındaki açığı kapatacak derecede önemli potansiyele sahip olduğu ortaya konulmuştur.
One of the most important requirements to sustain evolution and generation of humanity is energy. In terms of the globalizing world, while increasing population and improving industrialization, encouraged to more energy consumption energy more, at the same time that made a reason to end of conventional energy production source and to search new energy production methods. With these searches, contributed to improve renewable energy sources which is inexhaustible, clean and sustainable. In this study, it has been examinated applicability, ecological and economical benefits of solar and wind energy sources which are two of renewable energy sources. As a brief result of this study, wind power plants do not suitable for Nigde Province because of does not have provided to necessary condition for setting up a wind power plant, however Nigde Province has got the appropriate conditions to set up solar energy plants and it would have been equal to electricity consumption of Nigde Province, even it a potential to meet differences between electricity comsumption and production amount of Turkey, has been demonstrated.
