Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı Niğde yerel seçimlerdeki seçmen davranışlarını etkileyen faktörleri ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma kapsamında Niğde merkez ilçede ikamet eden ve seçmen niteliği taşıyan dört yüz yetmiş iki kişilik bir örneklem grubuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu kişilerden demografik sorular, Likert ölçeği ifadeler ve çoklu yanıt sorularından oluşan yirmi iki maddelik bir formu doldurmaları istenmiştir. Bu anket çalışmasının verileri 14-31 Aralık 2020 tarih aralığında toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programı aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Bu kapsamda normallik, güvenirlik, korelasyon, açımlayıcı faktör analizi, tek yönlü varyans, frekans ve çapraz tablo analizleri yapılmıştır. Seçmen davranışını inceleyen teorik yaklaşımlar içerisinde bu araştırmayı en iyi destekleyen yaklaşım rasyonel yaklaşım olmakla birlikte psikolojik ve sosyolojik yaklaşımlar da bulguları yorumlamakta oldukça faydalı olmuştur. Araştırma bulguları sonucunda ise Niğde yerel seçimlerinde seçmen davranışlarını etkileyen en önemli faktörlerin projeler ve hizmetler başta olmak üzere kişisel bazı yararlar, adayın önemi, partizanlık ve grup etkisi yer almaktadır.
The aim of this research is to reveal the factors affecting the voter behavior in the local elections in Niğde. Within the scope of the research, a sample group of four hundreds and seventy-two people residing in the center of Niğde and who are voters was reached. These people were asked to fill in a twenty-two item form consisting of demographic questions, Likert scale statements and multiple answer questions. The data of this survey study were collected between 14-31 December 2020. The data obtained were analyzed through the SPSS program. In this context, normality, reliability, correlation, exploratory factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, frequency and cross-table analyzes were performed. Among the theoretical approaches that examine voter behavior, the approach that best supports this research is the rational approach, but psychological and sociological approaches have also been very useful in interpreting the findings. As a result of the research findings, the most important factors affecting the voter behavior in the local elections in Niğde are some personal benefits, especially projects and services, the importance of the candidate, partisanship and group influence.
