Özet
Bu araştırma otizm tanısı almış bireylere verilecek müzik eğitimi ile problem davranışlarını azaltıcı, günlük sosyal davranışlarını düzenleyici etkileri tespit edebilmek, bu problemleri en aza indirmek için uygulanabilecek çözüm yollarını ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında M.E.B. Niğde Özel Eğitim Uygulama Okulu III. Kademede bir otizm tanısı almış birey ile haftada bir kez olmak üzere on iki oturumluk uygulama çalışması yapılmıştır. Araştırmada Niteliksel Araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel tek-denekli etkileşimsel durum çalışması deseni (Descriptive Single-Subject Interactive Case Study design in Qualitative Analysis) kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın ilk 4 oturumu okulda sınıf öğretmeni eşliğinde sonraki 8 oturumu bireyin evinde ailesi gözetiminde gerçekleşmiştir. Otizm tanısı almış birey ile gerçekleştirilen oturumlarda dinletilen şarkılar aracılığı ile bireye ritim becerisi hem şarkıda geçen kavramların anlamlandırılması ve kavramların tekrarı sağlanarak dil gelişimine katkısı odaklı sosyal yaşam becerileri kazandırabilme etkisi sağlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulguları, otizmli bireye verilen müzik çalışmalarının bireyin sosyal iletişiminin günlük sosyal hayatta daha aktif, kendini daha iyi ifade edebilen bir bireye dönüşmesinde etkili olduğunu, sosyal beceriler kazanabileceğini ve yaşamının diğer alanlarına da genelleyebileceğini göstermiştir. Sonuç olarak, yapılan bu çalışma ile farklı durumlarda müziğin, otizmli bireylerde sosyal davranış bozukluğu, yaşam becerisi, özgüven gelişimine bağlı olarak problemli davranışın giderilmesi, başarma duygusuna bağlı olarak uyum becerilerinin geliştirilebilmesi için tedavi edici ve eğlenceli bir yöntem olarak kullanılabileceğini göstermektedir.
This research was carried out in order to determine the effects of reducing problem behaviors and regulating their daily social behaviors with music education to be given to individuals diagnosed with autism, and to reveal the solutions that can be applied to minimize these problems. Within the scope of the research, M.E.B. Niğde Special Education Practice School III. A twelve-session practice study was conducted once a week with an individual diagnosed with autism in the first step. Descriptive Single-Subject Interactive Case Study design in Qualitative Analysis, one of the Qualitative Research methods, was used in the study. The first 4 sessions of the study were held at the school accompanied by the classroom teacher, and the next 8 sessions were held at the home of the individual under the supervision of his family. In the sessions held with the individual diagnosed with autism, it was tried to provide the individual with rhythm skills, the meaning of the concepts in the song and the repetition of the concepts, through the songs played, and the effect of gaining social life skills focused on their contribution to language development. The findings of the study showed that the musical activities given to the autistic individual are effective in transforming the individual's social communication into a more active and better able-bodied individual in daily social life, can acquire social skills and generalize to other areas of his life. In conclusion, this study shows that music can be used as a therapeutic and entertaining method in different situations in order to eliminate problematic behavior depending on the development of social behavior disorder, life skills and self-confidence in individuals with autism, and to develop adaptation skills depending on the sense of achievement.
