dc.description.abstractNitelikli öğretmen ihtiyacı ve istihdamı ülkemizin kuruluşundan bu yana güncelliğini kaybetmeyen bir konu olmuştur. Bu çalışma ile sınıf öğretmeni istihdamında, ilk kez 2014 yılında yapılan Öğretmenlik Alan Bilgisi Testi sınavının sınıf öğretmenliği lisans programlarının içeriği, öğretmenlik mesleği genel yeterlikleri ve sınıf öğretmenliği özel alan yeterlikleri açısından uygunluğunu ortaya koymak hedeflenmiştir. Ayrıca bu çalışmanın diğer bir amacı; sınavın nitelikli sınıf öğretmeni ihtiyacını karşılamadaki etkisini ve alandaki uzmanların bu konudaki görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması yöntemi ile yapılandırılmıştır. Ayrıca araştırma yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmelerle desteklenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu sınıf öğretmenliği alanında uzman 13 tane öğretim üyesi oluşturmuştur. Veri analizinde betimsel analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre sınıf öğretmeni istihdamında KPSS’ye ek olarak getirilen Sınıf Öğretmenliği Öğretmenlik Alan Bilgisi Testi sınavının, nitelikli sınıf öğretmeni ihtiyacını karşılamada, öğretmenlik mesleği genel ve sınıf öğretmenliği özel alan yeterliklerini ölçmede yetersiz kaldığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca uzmanlarla yapılan görüşmelerde; çoktan seçmeli sınav uygulaması ile birlikte objektifliği göz ardı etmeden, mülakatın ve performans gözlemlerinin olduğu, lisans programlarındaki başarıların değerlendirilmeye alındığı bir sınav sistemi üzerine çalışılması gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
dc.description.abstractThe requirement and the employment of the qualified teachers have been issues which always stay up to date since the foundation of our country. With this study it is aimed to present the conformity of the teaching profession field knowledge test for the employment of the primary school teachers which was first applied in 2014 with the primary school teaching undergraduate programs’ curriculums, general competence of teaching profession and the specific competence of primary school teaching. The other aim of this study is to measure the efficiency of this test in satisfying the need for the qualified teachers and present the field experts’ opinions regarding the subject. This research is based on the case study method which is one of the qualitative research methods. The research is also supported with semi-structured interviews. The study group of the research consists of 13 academicians who are professionals in the field of primary school teaching. Descriptive analysis technique is used in data analysis. According to the findings received from this research, the primary school teaching profession field knowledge test applied in addition to the PESE (Public Employee Selection Examination) for the employment of the primary school teachers is inadequate both to satisfy the need for qualified primary school teachers and to measure the general competence of teaching profession and the specific competence of primary school teachers. Also in the interviews with experts, it has been concluded that a new examination system should be developed in which interviews with the candidate teachers with an objective election, performance observation and also success level in the undergraduate take place in addition to the multiple choice tests.
