| dc.description.abstract | Yapılan çalışmada Aksaray İli Güzelyurt İlçesinin tarihi, sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel yapısı konu edilmiştir. Yapılan araştırma ile yazılı ve sözlü kaynakların derlenerek bir araya getirilmesi, kaynaştırılması ve ilçenin değerleri hakkında kaynak oluşturulmak istenmiştir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda birinci bölümde yapılan tez ile alakalı genel tanımlar yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde ilçenin tarihi, Hıristiyanlığın yöredeki gelişimi, ilçenin maruz kaldığı 1924 Nüfus Mübadelesi, coğrafi konumu, idari durumu, nüfusu, iklimi, bitki örtüsü, ayrıntılı olarak folklorik özellikler, ekonomik yapı, eğitim ? öğretim durumu ile sağlık konusu incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise Güzelyurt İlçesi'nin kültürel özellikleri, yazılı kaynaklar, gözlem ve görüşme yöntemleri ile ilçenin doğum, evlenme, askerlik, ölüm, düğün, nişan gibi örf ve adetler, yöresel yemek kültürü ve kış hazırlıkları, yardımlaşma kültürü ve yerel festivallerine değinilmiştir. Dördüncü son bölümde ise ilçenin eski bir Rum yerleşim birimi olduğundan genellikle Hıristiyanlar tarafından bilinen ve değer gören dini yapıları, sosyal ve kültürel yapılar ile sivil mimari özelliklerine değinilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda yöre ile alakalı çeşitli fotoğraflara yer verilirken, genel bir değerlendirme yapılarak son kısım oluşturulup, çalışma sonlandırılmıştır | |
| dc.description.abstract | The topic of this study (the main theme in this study) is the historical, social, economic and cultural structure of Güzelyurt district in Aksaray province. The aim of this study is to make a compilation to be used as a new source about the values of the district by means of searching and combining previously written works on the district with the information obtained via verbal sources. In the first chapter of the study, general definitions as to the thesis carried out have been introduced. In the second part(chapter), the history of the district, the evolution of Christianity in the district, the exchange of population which took place in 1924, geographical location, administrative status, demographic and educational features, climate and vegetation, a thorough analysis of the folkloric values and economic structure of Güzelyurt district have been carefully examined and presented. The third chapter of this study contains detailed information obtained from recorded documents, through observation and interwiews with the locals about the cultural values of Güzelyurt district; traditional dishes, preparations for winter, charity events, local festivities, rituals of birth, marriage ceremonies, funerals, compulsory military service, all of which have been held for years and can still widely be observed today. The last chapter studies the distintcive characteristics of the buildings which are of great religous importance, especially for Christianity as it was once largely inhabited by Greeks, and presents extensive information on the buildings of great social, economic and architectural significance.
